【故事大綱】 那是一個人們會被「黑雪」奪走某些事物的世界。遺忘名字的少年、失去臉孔的少女、失去外型的狗，以及忘記飛翔的小鳥，在偶然的機會下相遇。現在，兩個人與兩隻動物重新出發，開始了找回「自己」的旅程!!
【評論】 作家以獨特的筆觸以及色彩，呈現出如童話世界般的魅力。
很遺憾的是，當刊載於《早安2》時，由於編輯上的限制，所以無法全彩印刷。可是作家用低色調所描繪出的人物、建築以及天空，均與故事情節非常地契合，成功地呈現出「失去某些事物的世界」的氛圍。值得一提的是，其中作家很有效地利用紅色，使畫面產生了節奏感。
除此之外，作者在後半部轉換場面的畫面，大膽地改變色彩的運用，這種構思非常了不起。能夠讓讀者清楚地感受到世界的轉換，且作者的圖相當地有魅力。
故事方面，雖然前半部稍嫌艱澀，可是神秘老人的對白以及對登場人物的描寫引人入勝，使讀者逐漸被引進故事的世界中。而且，自老人與他所愛的人再度見面，直到結局時日本人家喻戶曉的「桃太郎」這名字的出現，也給人溫馨與幸福的感覺。
很遺憾的是，除了一頁中有太多格子之外，文字也太多，這會帶給讀者壓迫感。由於作者的圖相當的有魅力，所以只要多注意格子的安排，且加強對話的部分，一定可以變得更好。
雖然如此，我們還是一氣呵成地看到最後，結局也的確是出乎我們意料之外，不僅如此，讀完後的感覺也非常好。由於這部創作整體的水準相當高，因此我們便選擇這部作品為大賞。
【故事情節】 出生在牙醫世家的喬，從小就受到父親嚴格的管教，必需要保持牙的清潔。父親也認為喬長大後應要繼承診所。然而厭煩這種生活的喬，有一天赫然發現，如果沒有牙齒的話自己就可以託脫離這種生活，所以他試圖拔掉自己的牙齒……。
【評】 畫的筆觸與童話般的故事情節非常契合，成功地呈現出溫馨的創作世界。一般而言，拔牙是伴隨劇痛的恐怖經驗，可是少年認真煩惱之後決定拔牙的想法，令人在閱讀時不禁露出微笑。
作品的構成上，前半部只是淡淡地描寫少年的煩惱，到了後半部卻突然轉變為充滿奇幻的熱鬧風格，這種構造上的安排效果奇佳。
這部作品由旁白敘說故事的方法進行，用繪本式的方法表現故事，不過我們也想看看由作者所創造的人物之間的對話呈現、以漫畫式手法描繪故事的作品。

I am extremely overjoyed as this is my first attempt in an international manga competition. I did not expect to win any prize, so this result has been a very pleasant surprise. I started drawing my entry after the conclusion of my secondary school final exams. I took a whole month to complete the manga, but it would not have happened without the support of my family and friends.
I started drawing at the age of 10 and I hope to inspire others like me to persevere in manga art. I have long dreamed of expressing my stories through art, and I hope this accomplishment will open the doors to allow me to fulfill that dream. Thank you Kodansha for giving me this opportunity!
≪Story≫Puppets normally exist on stage solely to entertain their human audience. However, THESE puppets have neither strings nor puppeteers, and what enables their movement is magic in their eyes. Audiences, fascinated by these eyes made of precious stones, are entranced first by their charm, then by the puppets' performance.
In time, one puppet begins to fancy himself human. The joy he feels is fleeting, however, and may end in tragedy...
≪Review≫Ms. Chong shows great artistic skill both in color and in black & white. Except for a few scenes where human beings appear, her story is narrated by the interaction of puppets that by nature should not have emotions and words. The puppets begin to gain emotion, and their faces that were once motionless miraculously become more and more expressive.
The artist uses great technique illustrating the puppets’ mood shifts without dialogue, solely through movement and expression. Although the work depicts a love story told through the body language of puppets, it is also a story in which the oppressed stand up against the oppressors.
We are impressed by the talent of a 17-year-old who creates this kind of story.
≪Review≫C'è da apprezzare sulle espressioni dei personaggi. Danno forti impressioni gli occhi che ci parlano in profondità e nella nostra oscurità. Ma il contenuto è troppo semplice. Mi sembra che sia il primo episodio di una saga. Se gli autori volessero affrontare questo, prima di tutto bisogna studiare narrazione e dare più importanza alle descrizioni della psicologia interna dei personaggi. Penso che sia meglio iniziare a creare delle storie auto-conclusive (meno di 50 pagine) per poi acquisire tecnica narrativa.
≪Review≫这部创作的呈现方式，与其说是漫画，不如说是绘本，不过还是让人觉得这是一个完整的作品。作家在色彩以及视觉方面拥有非凡的才能，所以编辑部希望进一步了解作家是否能画出以一般分格手法呈现的漫画。
≪Review≫만화를 그리는데 있어 필요로 하는 기본적인 그림실력은 충분히 갖추고 있다.
응모작들 중에서는 가장 "능숙한" 작품들 중 한작품이라고 여겨진다.
그러나, 자세히 살펴보면 작가만의 개성적인 표현은 의외로 적은 느낌.
등장인물의 표정도 좀 더 매 컷마다 미묘하고 섬세한 변화를 이끌어내지 못한 점이 아쉽다.
스토리에 관해서도, 초반에는 마음을 잡아끄는 무언가가 있는 듯 하였으나,
후반부에서는 극단적으로 불친절한 전개로 인해 내용을 이해하기 힘들었다.
결과적으로 뭐가 어떻게 된 건지 통 알 수 없었다.
≪Review≫作画方面很有魄力，成功地呈现创作中的世界，很遗憾的是其世界观和人物的设定给人种似曾相识的感觉。我们希望能看到更多作家的创意。
≪Review≫I disegni fatti solo con le linee necessarie sono fini e ho notato con piacere il gusto diverso dai giapponesi e contemporaneamente le sagome dei personaggi hanno gusto universale che verranno accettate sia in occidente che in oriente. L'autore ha un talento che non esisteva 10 anni fa. Ho letto con tanto di entusiasmo, ma il contenuto manca la maturità. E' difficile capire l'autore che cosa voglia trasmetterci. Ha avuto troppo ossessione sulla costruzione con la finezza causando la difficoltà alla comprensione. E' peccato che alcune scene potevano darmi grande impressione ma non si sono raggiunti. Se l'autore sia sicuro del contenuto è necessario sforzare trasmettercelo. L'opera difficile spesso volentieri da impressione che in realtà non abbia un gran significato.
